About Maya

Grew up in Tel Aviv surrounded by artists, including her father Micha Ullman, Maya finds her passion in design and particularly silver-smithing. In her carbon-neutural studio in Cornwall, Maya designs and crafts her jewellery from preloved silver and gold pieces and ethically sourced gemstones. Melted silver is used as a pencil or a paintbrush to create lines, textures and organic forms.

'My inspiration comes from observing the pulse of nature, the changing of the tides and the seasons right outside my Cornwall-based studio. I love to create pieces of jewellery that reflect these special moments using materials that respect the world around us. I hope my jewellery will encourage you to stop for a moment, to enjoy it and allow yourself an indulgence that will make you or a loved one feel special too.'
