  • Jubilee Wharf Christmas Fair

The mulled wine is brewing, the mince pies are warming and amazingly it is beginning to feel a lot like Christmas here at Jubilee Wharf.

I'm so excited that my studio in is open again and feeling festive. I’ve been hanging up the decorations as well as creating some beautiful pieces of jewellery I’ll be launching at the JUBILEE WHARF CHRISTMAS FAIR!

Yes, it’s true. We are just one of a handful of craft fairs to go ahead this year but more than ever we really hope to see as many people as possible there.

The Zedshed will be hosting a limited number of stalls, a one-way system and other COVID-19 safe measures will be in place. More stalls will be outside in the Jubilee Wharf courtyard, so there will be plenty of gifts to choose from.

More than ever, this Christmas season, our local makers and small businesses really need your support, and in turn those of us taking part at Jubilee Wharf are donating funds from the fair to local charities who feed and support local people over Christmas.

The fair is on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th December so please drop by, say hello, take a look at what we’ve been up to this year, and maybe take a piece home with you too!

  • Maya's Print Exhibition

For those of you who were not able to visit my open studios earlier this month, you can have a virtual look around my Jubilee Wharf space by clicking here. It was wonderful to meet those who popped in during the ten days of the event, particularly during this time when we have not really seen enough of each other.
  • Raw, recycled and responsibly sourced!

While the storms ravaged the Cornish coastline and the rains seemed to never want to stop, I have hunkered down in my riverside studio working on this truly statement piece. This one is particularly important to me as it features a stunning Tibetan turquoise sourced by my gemologist husband Miles. He travels to mines around the world meeting those involved in sourcing and processing precious gems and metals. The provenance of raw materials is extremely important to me as a designer-maker.
  • Happy New Year...

Happy New Year! My goal this year is to expand my Raw collection as a result of the encouraging feedback from visitors to my stand during the Christmas fairs. Thanks to all those who chose my jewellery as gifts for your friends and loved ones. And a special thank you to those who treated themselves too!
  • Christmas is coming to Jubilee Wharf!

Just a few days to go until the Jubilee Wharf Christmas Fair. I'm busy finishing a few last minute pieces which I'd love to show you.
  • 'Tis the Season...

What a wonderful start to the festive season I had in Truro last week! The Made in Cornwall Christmas Fair on Lemon Quay is always a great opportunity to show off my latest collection...
