• Raw, recycled and responsibly sourced!

While the storms ravaged the Cornish coastline and the rains seemed to never want to stop, I have hunkered down in my riverside studio working on this truly statement piece. This one is particularly important to me as it features a stunning Tibetan turquoise sourced by my gemologist husband Miles Mason. He travels to mines around the world meeting those involved in sourcing and processing precious gems and metals. The provenance of raw materials is extremely important to me as a designer-maker. This large Tibetan turquoise disc forms the centrepiece to a lively fusion of recycled silver pieces, including rings, clasps and hooks. And for added drama I've suspended three giant irregular baroque pearls for maximum impact. The silver chain is adjustable making this piece flexible to suit a variety of necklines. A show stopping, environmentally friendly and ethically sourced piece of jewellery I'm incredibly proud of.
